Students injured in Frankton school bus crash
madison county - Icy roads caused a crash between a car and a school bus in madison county Wednesday morning.
The damage to the school bus underscores the potential danger to the 50 students and the driver inside: a shattered windshield, a dented frame and the bus itself tossed on its side. The road conditions too were treacherous Wednesday morning - a sheet of ice - when at the rural intersection at 500 North and 500 West a car and the frankton lapel School bus collided, sending the bus into a cornfield and students scrambling for safety.
