WKU students win $40,000 in Chase contest
Chase, a commercial banking brand of J.P. Morgan Chase & Co. (NYSE: JPM) awarded $40,000 to western kentucky university’s green toppers student group on Tuesday for winning Chase’s Go Green Facebook Competition.
The Green toppers won by earning the most points from July 23 to Sept. 14, with points being earned by taking a Green quiz, by asking other students to participate and by learning about Chase banking for students.
The team plans to use the money to make the campus more environmentally friendly, Chase said in a news release.
