9 students taken to hospital in bus crash
CHETEK, wis. - Nine students have been taken to area hospitals following a school bus accident in western wisconsin.
About 17 students, from elementary to high school, were on a bus in Chetek (sheh-TEK') monday morning when the driver drifted off the road, into a ditch and the bus flipped on its side.
Chetek superintendent al brown says nine of the 17 students were taken to area hospitals with minor injuries.
bus owner john erb says the bus driver wasn't injured, just shaken up. The barron county sheriff's Department is investigating.
